HUGE global fall protection manufacturer takes fallarrest.com on! Read all about it!
Whilst we quietly go about our business, keeping people safe, updating the market, creating case studies, one of the global ‘big guns’ keeps taking aim at our LinkedIn account! It’s embarrassing, for them! Our platform and ecosystem digital footprint, our standing in the market, our history, and standing seems to have hit a nerve with one marketing manager at least! Which brings us onto this news article.
TRUST – be careful and mindful of who you believe, it could cost you your legs, or your life! This image works, it grabs attention whilst also sending a clear message.
Case Study: fallarrest.com and the Digital Landscape of Fall Protection.
Interestingly, a company operating in the fall-protection sector has repeatedly targeted us. It is rather odd behaviour so today we chose to block the account that was carrying out these actions. As a leading body, and name in the world of fall protection we have no interest in being drawn into petty disputes or unprofessional behaviour, we have written about this on previous occasion, and especially in an industry where the ultimate objective is preventing serious injury and death.
We won’t name the business, or the group involved, because for us publicly embarrassing someone is not, and will never be, our approach. Now for the irony, one of my favourite words in the world!
Their LinkedIn follower count: ~3,000. Remarkably low for a business of that size! Our presence: 7,500 followers and 5,600 connections. I would expect so much more from my marketing team, so it’s interesting that they choose to poke fun at an account that is far superior to what they manage. And just to recap the performance metrics we’ve shared before, relating to our (provable) stats over the past 365 days on this platform:
6M+ impressions.
1.8M+ LinkedIn members reached.
51% account growth.
Ranked in the top 0.1% of all LinkedIn accounts globally for reach.
We consistently outperform influencers with over 100k followers, as well as major global manufacturers and brands.
fallarrest.com: 35k –100k monthly impressions and 1,000k unique clicks.
harnesses.com, rooflightcovers.com, freestandinghandrails.com, and the rest of our ecosystem contribute overall, and our reach is huge!
Add to this our digital MOAT ecosystem something that professionals in the field will recognise as both rare and highly effective and it’s clear that we control the digital landscape for fall protection in the UK. Ironically, although marketing is only our third skill, we appear to outperform many who claim it as their first.
Visit our platforms, this is why we are leaders in our field, and shaking up the world of fall protection, we tell the truth, we don’t lie, we don’t misrepresent, peoples lives are at stake and this isn’t a school playground’s game!
